Elcito

Elcito, a small village perched on a rocky spur at 821 meters. high on the slopes of Mount San Vicino. The village is visited mainly in the summer by the owners of second homes of San Severino Marche.

In Elcito there has never been a store, not even for basic needs, since it was a self-sufficient community until the 1970s. There were two hundred people and they had an intense relationship with their country, a primary source of existence.
